Project Vietnam collaborates with health professionals in Vietnam to improve healthcare policies for children. In 2004, after 3 years of campaigning and research with the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Vietnam adopted a national policy of Vitamin K injection after birth to prevent newborn deaths. Ongoing projects aim to improve newborn health, children emergency care, infection control, childhood asthma and medical services for children with special needs in rural schools.
